The Opportunity

Are you a commercially-minded sales professional who understands that the best growth comes from the right partnerships, not just any partnerships?

We are representing a globally loved, premium brand that is looking for a Sales-Focused Team Member to join their close-knit Wellington headquarters. This isn't a passive customer service role; it’s a proactive, relationship-driven position for someone who thrives on the phone, loves the "win" of a new stockist and takes pride in protecting a premium brand’s market position.

The Role

This is a "centre-of-the-action" position where you will manage a network of independent retailers across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll be responsible for:

Sales & Strategic Growth

  • Proactive Expansion: Engaging with existing bike and toy retailers to expand their product range and introduce new seasonal launches.
  • Targeted Onboarding: Researching and securing high-quality new stockists that align with the brand’s premium values.
  • Brand Integrity: Working with partners who value quality over price-cutting, ensuring the brand’s market position remains intact.

Premium Customer Operations

  • High-Touch Support: Handling inbound retail and wholesale inquiries across phone, email, LiveChat, and social media.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Guiding customers through product details, warranties, and coordinating repair requests with a regional network of agents.
  • Hands-on Execution: In this tight-knit team of 5, everyone "mucks in". You will pick, pack, and dispatch spare parts orders from the Wellington office to ensure a seamless post-purchase experience.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contributing ideas to improve website usability, FAQs, and the overall customer lifecycle

What You Bring

  • Sales DNA: You have a genuine sales mindset and are comfortable picking up the phone to pitch, influence and close.
  • Commercial Acumen: You understand margins, market positioning and the importance of long-term relationship building over a quick transaction.
  • Agility: You can pivot from a high-level sales Zoom call to solving a technical repair query or assisting with a community giveaway.
  • Tech Savvy: Experience with CRM systems, Shopify and Google Workspace is a major plus.

Why This Role?

  • A supportive, down-to-earth team based in a vibrant Wellington central office.
  • A paid day off for your birthday, a Winter Wellbeing Day and of course, your own premium gear from the brand’s range.

If you are a proactive self-starter who wants to own a sales pipeline while staying grounded in a hands-on team, we want to hear from you.
